Rolex Ref.6565 Serpico y Laino
Rolex Oyster Perpetual Ref. 6565
Retailed by Serpico y Laino, Caracas, 1957
A refined mid-century Rolex with a distinct Venezuelan soul. This Oyster Perpetual Ref. 6565 from 1957 was retailed by the legendary Caracas-based jeweler Serpico y Laino, whose discreet co-signature on the dial adds historical depth and collector appeal. The double-signed dial has aged beautifully, offering a warm patina that complements the understated elegance of the piece.
Housed in a sharp 34 mm stainless steel case, it is powered by the revered Rolex Caliber 1030, one of the brand’s first bi-directional automatic movements. It retains all the correct period details, including the original Twinlock crown with dash, and is fitted with a rare Big Logo riveted Oyster bracelet stamped 1/57.
A rare find for the discerning collector:
understated, storied, and undeniably authentic.
